Hub – Digital Content Upload & Distribution Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and
Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the EventLive Creator Hub platform
(“EventLive”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) by any individual or entity
(“Creator”, “Uploader”, “you”) who uploads, distributes, or monetizes digital
content through the Platform.
By uploading any
content, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
2. Scope of Services
EventLive provides a
digital distribution platform supporting multiple delivery methods, including:
- External Link
- Upload File (Download)
- Upload File (View Only)
- Livestream (Live Video)
- Event Replay (Recorded Content)
stores and manages files uploaded directly under the “Upload File” options.
All other delivery methods rely on third-party or external services.
3. Ownership and
Intellectual Property
3.1 You affirm,
represent, and warrant that:
- You are the legal owner of
the content uploaded, or you have full rights, licenses, and permissions
to distribute it.
- Your content does not infringe any
copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
not claim ownership of your content. You retain full ownership rights.
3.3 By uploading
content, you grant EventLive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free
license to host, display, distribute, and deliver the content solely
for the purpose of operating the Platform.
4. Anti-Duplication
& Security Disclaimer
4.1 EventLive
implements reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored content, including
access control mechanisms and secure delivery systems.
4.2 However, you
acknowledge and agree that:
- No digital system is completely immune to
duplication, copying, or unauthorized distribution.
- EventLive does not guarantee
absolute prevention of copying, screen recording, downloading, or
redistribution by end users or third parties.
shall not be held liable for any unauthorized duplication, piracy, or
misuse of your content once it has been accessed by a consumer.
5. Indemnification by
Creator
You agree to fully
indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EventLive, its owners, employees, and
partners from any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from:
- Copyright infringement
- Unauthorized content distribution
- False ownership claims
- Violation of third-party rights
- Any legal disputes related to the uploaded
content
survives termination of your use of the Platform.
6. External Content
Delivery Disclaimer
6.1 For delivery methods
including:
- External Links
- Livestreams
- Event Replays
as a distribution gateway.
6.2 You acknowledge
that:
- These services depend on third-party
platforms and infrastructure.
- EventLive does not control
availability, uptime, or reliability of such external services.
shall not be liable for:
- Broken links
- Stream failures
- Content unavailability
- Service interruptions from third-party
providers
7. Content
Availability & Consumer Access
7.1 EventLive
facilitates access between Creators and Consumers but does not guarantee
uninterrupted availability.
7.2 EventLive
shall not be responsible if:
- A file hosted externally becomes
unavailable
- A Creator removes or alters content
- Third-party services fail
- Internet or device limitations affect
access
disputes arising from content access are solely between the Creator and
the Consumer, unless otherwise explicitly stated by EventLive.
8. File Storage &
Responsibility
8.1 For files uploaded
directly to EventLive:
- We provide secure storage and controlled
access.
- We implement reasonable safeguards against
unauthorized access.
EventLive:
- Does not guarantee permanent storage
- Is not liable for data loss due to
unforeseen technical failures, force majeure, or cyber incidents
advised to maintain independent backups.
9. Limitation of
Liability
To the fullest extent
permitted by law, EventLive shall not be liable for:
- Loss of revenue, profits, or business
opportunities
- Content piracy or unauthorized sharing
- Third-party service failures
- Data loss or service interruptions
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages
Platform is at your own risk.
10. Platform Role
Clarification
EventLive operates
strictly as:
- A technology platform
- A distribution facilitator
- The publisher of your content
- A party to transactions between Creator
and Consumer
- Responsible for content accuracy or
legality
11. Termination
EventLive reserves the
right to:
- Remove content that violates these terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts at its
discretion
- Restrict access to protect platform
integrity
12. Updates to Terms
EventLive may update
these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance
of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall
be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
14. Acceptance
By uploading content
to EventLive Creator Hub, you confirm that:
- You are the rightful owner or authorized
distributor
- You understand the risks of digital
distribution
- You accept full responsibility for your
content
- You indemnify EventLive against any legal
claims
15. Key Protection

- You own your content, not EventLive
- You take responsibility if anything goes
wrong legally
- EventLive is not liable for piracy or
copying
- External links and streams are not
